I recently attended the Niagara Falls trip and I can honestly say that anyone who didn’t get the privilege, greatly missed out. The tour was revealed a lot for me personally. It also helped me to make new acquaintances, friends and bounds. By way of Yoga with my peers and new mentor in the hotel lobby, I discovered some of my strength and weaknesses. It was a refreshingly off-putting experience that demonstrated that being uncomfortable when experiencing new things. But it is when the knowledge obtained from the discomforting venture is applied in your daily life, that you will grow and change drastically for the better.
We got to witness the wonder that is Niagara Falls, as well as tour 4 great SUNY colleges; University at Buffalo, Buffalo State, Erie Community College & Genesee Community College. After seeing them all, I realize how ready and well prepared I am for college. They?re both educational institutions of course but the similarity that I am referring to is that they?re both like fully stocked hardware supply closets. They are equipped with all the tools you need to build what you aim to construct. But the labor falls upon you. YABC, like college, is only what you make of it. They could either be the greatest experiences in life or the biggest wastes of your time. The deciding factor is you, you devotion and hunger to succeed.
